Bohemia, NY (PRWEB) October 12, 2012
On October 12, 2012, Travel and clothing company, Surf Patch, responds to an article regarding the opening of a cellphone lot at Bradley International Airport for fliers to be picked up at as they clear airport security.
An article by Patch.com reported that Bradley opened this lot so that people who are picking up family, friends, clients, business partners, etc. have a place to wait that is convenient. It is located in what used to be a waiting area for taxis. According to the article, the airport opened this lot because they had received numerous complaints from customers that there was nowhere for their rides to wait to pick them up until they are called. Cars were permitted to stop and drop people off but could not in front of the terminal but could not stay there for extended periods of time.
The article goes on to state that the cellphone waiting lot contains a Quick Response code. Those who have smart phones can scan the code and they will be given the airport’s up to date flight arrival information. This lot was made to be similar to ones at other airports throughout the United States.
The goal of the cellphone waiting lot is make it easier and more convenient for travelers to get through airports and to their destinations faster and without issue after they have landed. Surf Patch is a company that helps their customers get through security as quickly as possible at certain airports so that they don’t have to wait on lines. Therefore, there is no question as to why they would support an addition that helps fliers get to where they want to go faster and more smoothly.
