Devault Refrigeration, the premier Mid-Atlantic commercial and industrial refrigeration company owned by UGI HVAC Enterprises Inc, is pleased to announce the hiring of Craig Thomas to the position of Refrigeration Services General Manager.
Mr. Thomas has earned a Chemical Engineering degree from Penn State University and a MBA in Finance from Temple University’s Fox School of Business and Management. He has spent his career in the HVACR industry, starting with a role as Project Engineer at Johnson Controls/Frick where he worked on various projects for industrial refrigeration systems. After working at Frick for several years, Mr. Thomas transitioned to the refrigerant business at Arkema Inc. There he took on many roles ranging from the Refrigerants Business Manager to the Supply Chain Finance Manager.
Mr. Thomas will replace Chip Conlan, one of the former founders and co-owners of Devault Refrigeration, a company that has been a premier leader in the refrigeration industry for over 30 years. Devault Refrigeration was established in 1983 and purchased by UGI HVAC in 2003 as part of its mechanical services expansion to promote the use of energy applications to new and current UGI customers. Chip Conlan will continue his employment with Devault/UGI HVAC in both a sales and advisory role, supporting Mr. Thomas’s transition into leadership.
