Personal experience inspired the development of a stroller attachment that allowed the freedom of movement in the arms and legs of the user, creating a truly effective yet safe jogging regiment for child and parent. Often, users of jogging strollers can be seen pushing the stroller ahead and catching up, or grabbing the handlebar with one hand at a time and switching frequently. Stroll-Smart™ alleviates the need for these awkward movements and offers a relieving solution for running or walking smoothly with children along in the stroller. The design takes into account the alignment of the users spine, arms and legs, reducing the strain in body position and force needed to move the stroller. The attachment is cleverly designed to be extremely user friendly and attached with an allen wrench. An allowance is made for varying user heights as the adaptor pivots from the fixed point on the stroller handlebar. The “break-away” safety feature works well in the event of a fall or just the need to detach without removing the neoprene belt, and with a child-tether keeps the stroller in the users’ control.
Stroll-Smart™ is a product design winner with established retail agreements in place and proven sales world-wide. Stroll-Smart™ has received endorsements from a California chiropractor as well as fitness/Pilates instructors. Stroll-Smart™ also received the “Best Chiropractic Readers Choice Awards” in 2004 and 2005.
