In this role, he provides technical support to clients and tax professionals in Grant Thornton’s operating offices on a wide range of tax accounting issues including income recognition, timing of deductions, capitalization of expenditures, method changes, as well as special methods of tax accounting including section 199, inventory, and depreciation.
Tracy Watkins, J.D., LL.M., C.P.A. is a Manager in Grant Thornton’s Washington National Tax Office. Tracy primarily focuses on accounting methods and periods, but also works on tax credit and incentive matters. She spent over three years in Grant Thornton’s South Florida office working on federal and international compliance, planning, and consulting and over three years in Grant Thornton’s Washington National Tax Office.
