Now it seems founders Ryland Arnoldi and Sam Seidman have hit an artful chord online as well. Recently, in conjunction with the launch of their new Designer writing journals, WRAPPED has launched a campaign on Kickstarter, the very popular startup financing website designed to help creative, youthful companies finance their development and growth.
After an October 9th launch of their Kickstarter fund-raising efforts, their funding goal was met in less than three days. “Yeah, we were kinda surprised at how quickly we reached our goal on Kickstarter,” said Ryland Arnoldi. Sam Seidman added, “We’ve kept the campaign going on Kickstarter as a demand for the designer wrapping paper and artistic journals is amazingly strong, especially as we close in on the holiday season.” The new designer Journals are available through Kickstarter pledges, where fans can get theirs before anyone else.
WRAPPED stems from the idea that wrapping paper can be a work of art, rather than a generic paper covering a gift. All WRAPPED products were initially inspired by renowned artist, Charles Arnoldi. Arnoldi would lay down butcher paper on the tables in his studio to protect them from paint. He would use the paint spattered paper as gift paper when he wanted to wrap a present. Arnoldi’s son, Ryland and co-founder Sam Seidman noticed people kept the unique wrapping paper the artist used for his gifts and treated it like art.
