Paycloud is a mobile app that allows businesses to extend the reach of their existing rewards program and deliver discounts and deals directly to the customers on the one thing they are most likely to shop with, their cell phones.
Paycloud eliminates physical gift and loyalty cards, allowing customers the ability of waving a smart phone at a participating merchant’s countertop sensor to check in, redeem rewards and coupons, and track their loyalty account status. Paycloud is a free app and is available via designated iPhone and Android apps.
“The Paycloud product gives the merchant the ability market directly to their customer’s cell phones via text messaging” said Jim Anderson, CEO of Electronic Commerce International. “It also allows the merchant to retain more customers and track customer loyalty data.”
Paycloud has integrated Zoosh, a NFC technology that doesn’t require a chip, into Paycloud. Any terminal or POS system that integrates with Electronic Commerce International’s processing network will be able to accept Zoosh enabled transmissions by plugging in a sensor that retails for under $100.
