Ventana Creek Launches Website and Announces New Carrizo Springs Project Coming Soon.

Carrizo Springs, TX (PRWEB) October 19, 2012

Carrizo Springs has a new housing and commercial real estate project underway. Over the past few months, CS1 Development has been constructing the initial Phase 1 of its Ventana Creek project. CS1 named the 32-acre mixed-use project "Ventana Creek", given the extensive natural creek features running throughout the entire property.

The Company recently announced that the initial catalyst phase of the project will begin leasing in a matter of weeks, followed by continuous development of the entire property by the real estate development group. This first phase is slated to provide accommodations for a mobile workforce while also creating a bridge towards a more permanent housing solution within the Eagle Ford shale.

Phase 1 of Ventana Creek is being designed as a transitional area within the overall development, consisting of RV spaces, flexible and furnished accommodations, followed by split-level modular cabins, and a semi-permanent cabin village that will serve as the "transition" by the developers into a more permanent and sustainable housing solution, supported by traditional commercial development. Ventana Creek is being designed specifically in this manner not only to mimic how development has proceeded thus far in the shale, but also to encourage other developers to follow suit and build more permanent, and livable residential and commercial projects.

The workforce housing options and creek side cabins will be operated as nightly accommodations, similar to a hotel, but with a more comfortable environment in mind. These accommodations are being designed against the "disaster lodging", or "man-camps" that are singularly being offered by others as full-turnkey solutions.

As a Company spokesperson recently said, "Those aren't housing solutions. They are practically sardine cans with people living in them night after night. They offer fully-customizable BS to the oil and gas companies if you ask me, and make ordinary folks pay for it through their pensions. It's not a quality of life and it doesn't cater to the women, children and families in any respect. And they are definitely not even taking care of the men that stay there night to night. No way. These things are decrepit environments that do not address the needs of the community whatsoever. For the same money, real estate developers can offer something better to both the communities AND the oil and gas companies, yet get it all back the same way. Nobody seems to be doing it, but it's just that simple and more groups like us need to just do it".

Ventana Creek aims to achieve a better community all around. With flexible accommodations, better living conditions, and much better amenities, Ventana Creek offers everything one needs and expects, all in a family setting.
