In time to mark the fifth anniversary of his survival, lung cancer advocate Thomas Cappiello has written Living with Lung Cancer – My Journey published by Friesen Press and distributed through The Ingram Book Company.
Punta Gorda, FL (PRWEB) October 21, 2012
On October 5, 2007, Thomas Cappiello was diagnosed with inoperable Stage IIIA adenocarcinoma (Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer) –an “incurable” disease. Generally, people with late stage lung cancer don't live five years, let alone survive to write and publish a book.
In time to mark the fifth anniversary of his survival, Cappiello has written "Living with Lung Cancer – My Journey" published by Friesen Press and distributed through The Ingram Book Company. Hardback and soft cover editions are available at the publisher’s online bookstore at http://www.friesenpress.com. The book is also available on Amazon.com, including an electronic edition for Kindle.
Living with Lung Cancer — My Journey is a story about the emotional turmoil of a cancer diagnosis, dealing with the disease and making choices. Most of all, it's about trying to live life to the fullest each and every day. By telling his story, Cappiello seeks to inspire cancer patients to fight hard and live, with whatever time they have, with renewed purpose and energy. The journey is different for everyone, but no matter the stage of disease or how dire the outlook, this book aims to give cancer patients hope for living a cancer free future.
The book’s release comes just in time for National Lung Cancer Awareness Month, which is November.
