Phillips Charitable Organization, founded by Charles Phillips and his wife, Karen Phillips, has awarded a grant to Shanae Smith that allowed her to reunite with her children and to continue to provide for them.
Beaumont, TX (PRWEB) October 21, 2012
Phillips Charitable Organizations, or PCO, has helped Shanae Smith of Beaumont, TX, reunite with her family by awarding her a grant. PCO aims to help single-parents with assistance as they struggle to make ends meet during difficult economic times.
Shanae Smith is a Texas parent who had bravely ended a seemingly volatile relationship. Many of her belongings were missing or destroyed in the aftermath of the breakup. After her ex-partner was sentenced to a 20 year prison sentence, this terrible circumstance ripped her family apart.
Her children were sent to live with relatives while Shanae struggled to get on her feet. Work was hard to come by and Shanae was unable to afford day care or even the hotel where she was residing. Child Protective services stepped in and the separation between Shanae and her children grew even wider. It was months before Shanae could even see her children.
However, with the help of a generous grant from PCO, Shanae is now able to afford an apartment for her and her children to start a new home. Additionally, the grant is also helping pay for quality daycare services, as Shanae was able to find regular employment to provide for her now-reunited family.
PCO has helped many single-parents during a time of need. Phillips Charitable Organizations aims to provide timely assistance to help people through difficult times as quickly and efficiently as possible. For more information on PCO, please visit PhillipsCharitable.org.
