Carolina Farm Credit Announces Winners In The Cap Contest

Statesville, NC: Michael R. Morton CEO of Carolina Farm Credit announces Ben Luther, of Mt. Ulla as a lucky winner in the company's quarterly cap contest. The cap contest is a quarterly drawing awarding four people for wearing a Carolina Farm Credit cap. An employee or director spots an individual wearing a Carolina Farm Credit cap and gets their name and address to enter them in the drawing. At the end of each quarter, Carolina Farm Credit draws to award four winners, $50 each. There have been cap sightings from all across the 54 counties that Carolina Farm Credit serves. This is a small way of showing our appreciation to our customers and friends who support our business and show it by wearing our caps.

Carolina Farm Credit is a stockholder-owned cooperative providing short, intermediate, and long-term financing to full and part-time farmers and agricultural-related businesses and also provides financing for the construction and purchase of homes in 54 counties through 36 service centers. Other financial services available are credit life insurance, crop insurance, appraisal services, leasing programs and financial planning.

Carolina Farm Credit serves over 9,200 members with loans outstanding totaling more than $1.3 billion. The association’s territory covers the western half of North Carolina, with service centers located in Albemarle, Asheboro, Asheville, Boone, Burnsville, Carthage, Concord, Ellerbe, Graham, Hendersonville, Hillsborough, Jefferson, Lenoir, Lexington, Lincolnton, Marshall, Mocksville, Monroe, Murphy, Newton, Pilot Mountain, Reidsville, Roxboro, Rural Hall, Salisbury, Shelby, Siler City, Sparta, Spindale, Statesville, Taylorsville, Wadesboro, Waynesville, Wilkesboro, Yadkinville, and Yanceyville.
