Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013, the latest enterprise resource planning (ERP) software scheduled for release from Microsoft, took center stage at RG Connect 2012, The Resource Group’s 12th annual Customer Conference held October 11, 2012, at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center in Seattle. The Resource Group is a leading provider of Microsoft Dynamics® GP (formerly, Great Plains), helping customers utilize their software solution to gain business insight and manage their organization more efficiently and effectively.
Each year, The Resource Group hosts more than 125 attendees who network with peers, see the latest technology from Microsoft and its Partners, and most importantly learn how to use their system better. During the event, attendees were able to get a sneak peek at some of the features of Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013, which is slated for release later this year. Some of these features include added enhancements to the ERP system’s General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Payables Management applications.
The day-long event also featured an awards ceremony, which tied in with the theme of this year’s event, Partnering to Drive Productivity. The client companies — selected based on their achievements in leveraging Microsoft Dynamics GP to streamline operations — were HealthFirst, a provider of emergency products and training programs to dental, medical and other health care facilities, and Market Leader, which provides online technology and marketing solutions for real estate professionals.

In addition, the event boasted an executive leadership track featuring two nationally recognized speakers: Holly G. Green, author of the best-selling book “More Than A Minute”, and Dr. Gerry Faust, author of “Responsible Managers Get Results”.
