The Circle of Care Burn Foundation (“COCBF”) (http://www.circleofcareburnfoundation.org), announced the successful completion of its second annual Ultimate Trunk Show, presented by Mercedes-Benz of Beverly Hills. The event, which honored Beverly Hills Fire Chief Timothy J. Scranton and the contributions of first responders, was held at Mercedes-Benz of Beverly Hills at 9250 Beverly Boulevard and raised $100,000 in contributions.

Approximately 500 people attended the cocktail party, with food from The Grill on the Alley and refreshments from Alma Tequila, which served as a celebration of Customer Appreciation Night on behalf of Mercedes-Benz of Beverly Hills. The subsequent dinner, also catered by The Grill on the Alley, attracted 140 supporters, in celebration of Chief Scranton. Drs. Richard and Peter Grossman attended the cocktail party and Dr. Peter Grossman spoke at the dinner, where he paid tribute to the featured guests and COCBF. The event was also featured in the October 19th edition of the Beverly Hills Courier, along with photos of Bruce Schulman, General Manager of Mercedes-Benz of Beverly Hills; Chief Scranton; Ron Goldie, COCBF Board Chair; and Linda David, CEO of COCBF. Linda David stated: “Tickets for this year’s Ultimate Trunk Show sold out quickly, drawing a number of dignitaries, public officials, civic activists and residents throughout Beverly Hills. We once again wish to express our thanks to the Grill on the Alley for their superb catering, as well as the exceptional support of Mercedes-Benz of Beverly Hills, and the individual and corporate sponsors who made this evening so memorable. The event served as a reminder of the essential work of first responders, while also highlighting the valuable assistance we offer for burn survivors and their families. I appreciate the efforts of Chief Scranton, Dr. Grossman and everyone else who made this night so inspiring.”

COCBF provides assistance to burn survivors and their families. In addition to its close ties to the renowned Grossman Burn Centers, which it supports through direct patient assistance and other programs, COCBF has expanded its programs and reach to include all of Southern California.
