St. Clair Shores, MI (PRWEB) November 02, 2012

Viviano Flower Shop is pleased to announce that in celebration of the75th anniversary of its founding in 1937 it will hold a three day Anniversary Sale on November 16, 17, and 18, 2012 during which time patrons can enjoy 25% off the price of regularly priced items with savings capping at $75. The 75th Anniversary Sale will take place in all four Viviano locations: St. Clair Shores, Chesterfield, Shelby Township, and Grosse Pointe Woods. With three days of sales on beautiful gift items, including fresh floral arrangements, blooming plants, green plants, candles, statues, and other giftware, patrons have a great opportunity to get started on their holiday decorating and gift-giving.

“Without the loyal support of our patrons for the last 75 years, there would be no Viviano Flower Shop today,” noted Paul F. Viviano, CEO and grandson of the founder Frank P. Viviano, Sr. whose original flower shop was located in Detroit on Cadillac Blvd at E Forest Ave. “This sale is our way of saying ‘Thank you’ to our long-time patrons and ‘Welcome’ to our newest customers. Join us in celebration of our 75 years in business with a 25% discount, and we will give you 100% satisfaction!”

Viviano’s flagship store in St. Clair Shores features a distinctive domed roof which was originally a greenhouse constructed on the grounds of the Emory L. Ford estate in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. The greenhouse was disassembled and then reconstructed on the site of Viviano’s St. Clair Shores location during the late 1940’s.

Referencing the historic architecture, Viviano explained, “I think the dome reminds us and our patrons of our family’s commitment to the finest traditions of floral excellence while at the same time we appreciate new methods of serving our patrons. My grandfather started his business with a cigar box for a cash register and often took the city bus to deliver his arrangements. He’d be so amazed by our efficient computerized phone, order, and delivery systems today!”

“Even when I joined the business full-time in 1983 and introduced computers to the business, I had no idea how technology would improve the way we do things,” Viviano added. “The future is exciting! We look forward to sharing it with our patrons.”
