Demand for Drupal Developers continues to rise report leading IT Recruitment Agency CV Screen. The analysis of over 200 job adverts, shows that the average advertised rate for a Drupal Developer is £345 and the average advertised permanent salary £36,353.
Demand for Drupal which is an open source content management framework has risen significantly with over 15% more vacancies advertised in Q3 2012 compared with the same period in Q3.
CV Screen’s Matthew Iveson commented on the findings “We are seeing more and more demand for Open Source technologies as organisations look to take advantage of their lower costs. Drupal Developers are certainly in demand and it is an area that we expect to see increased demand.”
Iveson continued “typically Drupal has been requested alongside PHP Development skills, but there are certainly more and more vacancies where the client is looking for a Drupal specialist.”
Iveson concluded “We are expecting to see demand for Drupal skills continue to rise over the next 12 months and this is likely to be reflected in salaries and contract rates following a similar pattern.”
