Inn on Ursulines latest French Quarter Guest Houses hotel to open
New Orleans, LA (PRWEB) November 04, 2012
On August 10th, the French Quarter Guest Houses officially opened the doors of its newest boutique hotel, the Inn on Ursulines. Proudly unveiling its smallest hotel, the Inn on Ursulines has been carefully restored to showcase the property's everlasting charm. The Inn on Ursulines, along with the recently renovated Inn on St. Peter and Inn on St. Ann, epitomizes the vision of the French Quarter Guest Houses brand.
The KFK Group, developers of the French Quarter Guest Houses collection of hotels, purchased the former Ursulines Guest House on May 15th, 2012. Following the purchase, the hotels underwent both interior and exterior renovations with a focus on restoring the tradition, history, and architecture of the near 200 year old buildings which comprise the Inn on Ursulines. Lee Cuicchi, KFK Group Corporate Operations Manager, called the latest addition a “perfect fit for our initiative to bring an alternative hotel experience to the visitors of our great city. We set ourselves apart from other larger hotel operators in the city by providing an intimate and personalized hotel experience in meticulously renovated historic French Quarter locations. With a detail placed on everything a traveler expects, coupled with tasteful, traditional finishes, we’re certain that the Inn on Ursulines will experience the same success as our Inn on St. Peter and Inn on St. Ann properties opened earlier this year.” The KFK Group spent $1.5 Million dollars on the 15 room hotel project.
With both location and comfort, the Inn on Ursulines is the perfect destination for guests seeking an authentic French Quarter adventure. Centrally located between Bourbon Street and Frenchmen Street, the ongoing thrill that is the New Orleans experience is mere steps away. Many New Orleans landmark attractions such as the French Market, Jackson Square and St. Louis Cathedral, Woldenberg Park, Louis Armstrong Park, Mississippi River Riverwalk and Rue Royal are within easy walking distance. The charming brick courtyard complete with a soothing hot tub serves as a sanctuary from the excitement the French Quarter and New Orleans has to offer.
Engrossed in the property's rich history and architecture are guest rooms providing today's traveler the comfort and modern conveniences expected of a great hotel such as complimentary wireless internet, LED television with HD programming, and alarm clock with MP3. Each of the fifteen deluxe rooms boast antique heart of pine floors, white Carrera marble bathrooms, top-quality linens and bath amenities, and pillow top mattresses. Each room is equipped with a hair dryer, iron, ironing board, telephone, electronic locks and individual climate control.
