Fayetteville, AR (PRWEB) November 05, 2012

As a former stay-at-home mom who’s only training was as a high school history teacher, Kim Hodous had zero business experience. However, one conversation got her into a prestigious tradeshow and she went on to build a seven figure business over the next two years. Hodous has combined the lessons she’s learned in business over the past eleven years with her keen insight on life in her latest business book, Show Up, Be Bold, Play Big: 33 Strategies for Outrageous Success and Lasting Happiness From a Former Stay-at-Home Mom who Built a Seven Figure Business From Her Kitchen Table.

Hodous also recently joined a select group of business experts to co-author the book, Nothing But Net! The World’s Leading Speakers, Trainers and Entrepreneurs Reveal Their Top Secrets to Increase Your Bottom Line Health, Wealth and Success! In the book she shares her business and life philosophy in a chapter named after her book, “Show Up, Be Bold, Play Big,” which won the esteemed Editor’s Choice Award.

To commemorate her Best- Seller status, she was also presented with The Quilly™ Award at The Academy’s Annual Golden Gala in Hollywood on September 28th. Upon receiving these Awards, Kim commented, “It’s such an honor to receive both of these awards. I believe everyone has a book inside them. Everyone has a story to tell. It’s been such a blessing to be able to tell mine, and have it impact so many people in such a positive way!”

After being asked by numerous people how she went from a stay-at-home mom to a successful entrepreneur, she decided to put her philosophy in a book. “My core philosophy for living is this: Show Up, Be Bold, Play Big. It’s been rewarding to see people really take that philosophy and use it to achieve maximum business success and lasting happiness,” she shared. In her book, she offers 33 unique strategies that allow you to create win-win scenarios in both your relationships and your endeavors, along with exercises at the end of each chapter to help reinforce the concept. As one reader put it, “This book is a User’s Guide for living a bigger life and having a better business.”
