New York, New York (PRWEB) November 05, 2012
Brand Connections (http://www.brandconnections.com), a marketing and media company that develops and delivers Branded Consumer Experiences™ for Fortune 500 brands, today announced that it has acquired PIE Advertising (http://pieadvertising.com/), an integrated marketing agency, for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition reflects Brand Connections’ insight into the changing marketing services landscape. “The addition of PIE, a creative agency with digital and retail marketing expertise, extends and enriches Brand Connections’ unique roster of services. Today, clients look to partners that are experts in strategizing, managing and delivering results on more spokes of the marketing wheel,” says Sherry Orel, Chief Executive Officer, Brand Connections. “Social, digital, mobile and offline activation must be integrated.”
Bradley Hajart founded PIE Advertising in 2006. The firm specializes in consumer, digital and social media marketing for challenger brands such as V05, Montecristo Cigars, Major League Soccer and Hain Celestial Group. PIE helps challenger brands craft strategic and creative integrated campaigns to take advantage of their strengths and their competitors' weaknesses. Prior to being acquired by Brand Connections, PIE provided creative services for Brand Connections’ clients such as General Mills, Target and Green Mourtain Coffee.
With the acquisition, Hajart, formerly the Creative Director/Managing Partner of PIE, will assume the title of Senior Vice President, Executive Creative Director; Paul Randon, formerly the Director of Content, will assume the title of Vice President, Creative Director. The PIE staff has relocated to Brand Connections’ Manhattan headquarters.
“When looking at the next phase of our growth, it was clear that we needed an innovative partner that had the same vision and values as PIE. We found that in Brand Connections," says Hajart. "We see this as an incredible opportunity to partner with an outstanding team with a global reach to deliver ground-breaking programs for brands."
Orel says, “It’s imperative for brands today to break through the clutter with Branded Consumer Experiences™ that are meaningful and relevant to the consumer’s frame of mind whether they are online, in-store, traveling, working, or playing. We are the only company of our kind that provides clients with ROI driven, turn-key services from strategy through execution in the media, promotion, out-of-home, social, digital, mobile, experiential and retail activation verticals.”
