For the second consecutive year, Stockport-based independent catering equipment supplier, Stephensons, has proudly sponsored and presented awards at the prestigious Lancashire Life and Cheshire Life Food and Drink Awards.

Last night’s glamorous black tie awards ceremony, held at the Midland Hotel in Manchester, saw The Fox and Barrel at Cotebrook walk away as the winner of The Cheshire Dining Pub of the Year category, whilst The Assheton Arms, Downham, was announced as the recipient of the corresponding Lancashire award.
Henry Stephenson, Managing Director at Stephensons, comments on the event: “Once again, the Lancashire Life and Cheshire Life Food and Drink Awards night was a fitting celebration of the very best catering and hospitality in the North West, a region containing a plethora of first-rate establishments and master chefs. Both The Fox and Barrel and The Assheton Arms thoroughly deserved their accolades and I would not be surprised to see them featuring at these awards again in the near future."
As glamorous and exciting as ever, the black-tie awards event provided an opportunity to mingle with many recognisable faces from across the region’s flourishing food and drink industry, whilst soaking up the first-rate hospitality provided by the Midland Hotel.
For the second consecutive year Stephensons proudly sponsored the prestigious Cheshire Dining Pub of the Year category, as well as the Lancashire Dining Pup of the Year award. It was great to see that aside from the merriment and prize giving, guests took the time to dig deep and donate almost £2,500 to the North West Air Ambulance Charity.
