The Polish Place is a Polish-themed restaurant and gallery that also offers five lodging chalets. Mrs. Sowter and her husband opened The Polish Place in 1983. Ania has more than three decades of professional experience in the restaurant, recreation, and tourism industry. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education from the Academy of Physical Education in Poznan, Poland and is also a certified physical therapist through the Academy of Physical Therapy. During her free time, Ania enjoys gardening, photography, reading, and traveling. She also volunteers with the CareFlights Emergency Response Centre.
