Over the course of her brilliant professional career, Jennifer has routinely exhibited the passion, vision, and dedication necessary to be mentioned among the elite. Utilizing her extensive expertise in counseling, crisis response, critical incident stress management, grief and loss community education, and emergency response, Jennifer currently serves as Principal Consultant with Communities Respond, which is a unique and innovative organization offering a diverse range of specialized training opportunities which are focused on developing an enhanced level of individual and community preparedness for crisis, critical incidents and emergencies through the delivery of the Communities Respond Model. Over the course of her incredibly impressive career, Jennifer has attended numerous international conferences on the subjects of Crisis Response, Trauma Counseling and Family Support Services, Critical Incident Stress Management and Emergency Management. She has also co-presented a workshop at the Australasian Critical Incident Stress Association International Conference in Melbourne (2003) and the World Disaster Management Conference in Toronto, Canada (2008). Prior to joining the team with Communities Respond, Jennifer served as a member of the Standby Response Team, through which she gained a renewed perspective into working with individuals in crisis and had the opportunity to attend several in-house training programs and professional development days. She has also held several other positions, including Emergency Services Coordinator with ARC; Coordinator for Ipswich Trauma Response Service Inc.; and Family Support Services Coordinator with West Moreton District Health. Although she gained the vast majority of her expertise through her professional experience, Jennifer also earned a Diploma in Community Services and Health Management from the Spencer Institute, Diploma in Welfare and Community Services from Bremer TAFE, and a Bachelor of Health and Community Services degree and a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of New England. She is a member of the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation and the International Association for Counselling.
