Annette Bridges’ debut book provides inspirational and practical insight on how to overcome even the most severe economic difficulties.
Tioga, TX (PRWEB) November 08, 2012
In her first book, Annette Bridges shares a collection of twenty-one sassy and extraordinary lessons learned from her charming and captivating mother. “The Gospel According to Mamma: One mother’s philosophy on love, money, God, aging, decisions, change, and much more!” is set for publication in November 2012.
Anyone facing a devastating financial crisis or confronted with unexpected, unwanted change will gain inspiration and practical insights from Mamma’s real-life anecdotes. Hers is not a rags-to-riches story, but an illustration of how to survive difficult economic times, including being both homeless and jobless.
Following a difficult divorce, she conquered fear and uncertainty when forced to move across the country. She worked her way out of poverty one day at a time, viewing life through a lens of gratitude. Mamma’s positive approach is obtainable by anyone who is willing to take up her confident resolve, tackle problems head-on, and strive for goals with certainty, expectancy and creativity.

About the author
For almost a decade, Annette Bridges wrote stirring and motivating columns for Texas newspapers, parenting magazines and spirituality websites. She now endeavors to bring helpful, instructive and light-hearted messages in a series of books. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, all of her years have been spent in the south except for her college years, which were spent in Illinois. With a B.A. degree in Sociology and graduate studies in early childhood education, she was an educator in public schools until becoming a home schooling mom. Writing aspirations began as a child with journal keeping, but she would not write her first published essay – a guest column in the Dallas Morning News – until she became an empty nester when her only child left for college. Annette lives on a North Texas cattle ranch with her husband John – about four miles from her mamma’s house.
