Portraits for Patriots (PfP) Continues its Mission to Help Veterans in Need.
Tampa, FL (PRWEB) November 09, 2012
Local charity organization Portraits for Portraits (http://www.portraitsforpatriots.org) is a 501c3, all-volunteer, non-profit organization of photographers from around the Bay area, many of whom are veterans. The photographers, called Patriots, donate their time and talents to raise money selling photos taken at events.
PfP photographs events such as rides, walks, festivals, parties, other fund raisers and other charity events, all free to the event host. The photos are then sold to the participants and the profits donated to a veteran or another non-profit organization that supports wounded service members. PfP will be donating a portion of the profits from the sale of their photos to the Florida Gulf Coast Chapter of the Paralyzed Veterans of America on November 15th at noon at 15501 N. Florida Avenue, Tampa, FL 33613. Media is welcome to attend the short presentation of the donation check to PVA board members to bring additional awareness of PfP and PVA’s efforts.
“This year’s ride was fantastic,” said Eron Iler, founder and president of Portraits for Patriots. “Everyone is pleased with the turn out, and we were able to take a lot of great photos for an even greater cause.”
Iler went on to say that he was honored to be able to help the Paralyzed Veterans of America organization further its mission to “change lives and build brighter futures for our seriously injured heroes.”
