The Private Investigator service has announced their legal services in response to a recent article written by Sky News relating to wealthy criminals dodging requirements to contribute to legal costs.

(PRWEB UK) 9 November 2012

A recent report has been published by Sky News, Legal Aid: Criminals Could Have Assets Seised, highlights the problems created by rich criminals who are convicted of committing a crime not paying their legal costs. Less than a fifth of the £10m legal aid paid out was collected last year.

Tough measures are to be taken, such as seizing assets, including cars, from criminals who attempt to evade payment of fees by hiding income and savings.

The investigators at the Private Investigator Birmingham are often asked to look into cases for people who, without Legal aid, would not be able to fund an investigation into their situation as all their money would be spent on legal costs.

A spokesperson from Private Investigator Birmingham said:

"We have helped many people over the twenty five years we have been in business and many have had Legal Aid. Legal aid is available for people who are unable to afford legal costs. If in the future a person who has been awarded aid can afford to do so, they will pay back the aid. With so many criminals abusing the service it will be harder to get in the future.”

Private Investigator Birmingham has a pool of skilled and highly trained private detectives and private investigators in the UK and abroad. This nationwide company includes their long associated business partners UK Private Investigator who can supply investigation services in and around the London area.
