Detroit, MI, November 16, 2012 –(PR.com)– Some drivers might argue that test driving a Lincoln is always done for a good cause: the intention of buying one. During the November 13 Drive for a Cause event conducted by Detroit Lincoln dealer Lincoln of Troy, the Crittenton Hospital also benefited from every key turned. Each test drive of a 2013 new Lincoln car resulted in a $20 donation from Lincoln to the Crittenton Foundation.
All the money generated from Drive for a Cause will go toward the Crittenton Foundation tower project, a new expansion for the hospital. The new eight-story facility will include a technologically advanced pharmacy and 87 patient rooms designed to ensure privacy.
“We have supported the Crittenton Foundation for years and so have many of our clients,” said Paul Sabatini, President of Lincoln of Troy. “As someone who lives and works locally, I am proud to help save lives and promote health care in our community. As a business owner, I also value the Hospital’s role as an economic engine. It is a great cause for a great community.”
“Drive for a Cause will make a big impact for our community, because proceeds will fund equipment and technology for our patients,” said Melinda Conway Callahan, President of the Crittenton Foundation.
The Drive for a Cause event took place at the current facility on W. University Drive in Rochester Hills. Those in attendance included members of the community, Crittenton Hospital employees and local volunteers. All of the new Lincoln cars were provided by Lincoln of Troy.
