The George Jarkesy Show has initiated a petition against the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty, a treaty that threatens America’s 2nd Amendment rights.
Houston, TX (PRWEB) July 27, 2012
The George Jarkesy Show, a nationally syndicated financial-political talk show, has initiated a petition against The Arms Trade Treaty. George Jarkesy expressed on his show that The Arms Trade Treaty is a “travesty and something the American people need to know about.”
The petition, supported by the United Nations, would create a global database of firearm ownership in private households, as stated by The New American. In the 2nd Amendment of the United State’s Constitution, the founding fathers gave Americans the “right to bear arms.” George Jarkesy states that this act “clearly denies Americans an explicitly stated right” which “threatens U.S. sovereignty.” Jarkesy expresses the need for Americans to “protect our Constitution” as a “leader of the free and prosperous world.” He urges the American people to sign the petition against The Arms Trade Treaty to prevent a loss of American sovereignty.
