MADin15.org, a volunteer matching site and means Make a Difference in 15 minutes, announced today that non-profits of all sizes are signing up and utilizing MADin15's unique service to recruit volunteers.

Santa Monica, CA (PRWEB) August 10, 2012

The founder of MADin15.org, Adam Radly, launched the service last month to give the average person the ability to "Make A Difference" by searching the site for volunteer opportunities that can be performed at home in very little time – maybe as little as 15 minutes. Conversely, non-profits are able to post listings for volunteers to assist with a long list of tasks that don’t fit the traditional definition of volunteer work.

Adam Radly said that “I've heard so many people say they would love to volunteer for a cause that is close to their hearts and they want to make a difference in our communities, but they don’t have the time or the money to donate. So I created an online service that allows them to make difference with minimal time and no money."

MADin15.org services are free for both volunteers and non-profit organizations.

This week, eMagazine, a leading online environmental magazine, posted several volunteer opportunities including grant writer, online marketing and social media coordinator.

Adam Radly commented, "eMagazine.com is a big player in the online environmental publishing arena and their participation with MADin15.org validates our belief that our service works for organizations of all sizes.”

eMagazine’s volunteer opportunities don’t require people to go to an office or attend an event. Adam Radly said, “the volunteer opportunities posted by eMagazine.com are consistent with most of our volunteer opportunities in that they can be accomplished by people in their spare time from the comfort of their own homes."

Adam radly added “eMagazine is one of the best and most credible sources of news and information about environmental issues but it also happens to be a 501c(3) non-profit organization.”

In order to post opportunities on MADin15.org non-profits must be registered 501c(3) organizations. Adam Radly said, “we can make exceptions for certain organizations that may not have 501c(3) status such as schools, government departments, hospitals and international organizations where the 501c(3) classification obviously doesn’t apply”.
