Local Inventor launches first-of-its-kind product at retail.
San Ramon, CA (PRWEB) August 19, 2012
Local Inventor Marlene Robinson has developed a product which will help millions of people unbuckle a child’s car seat with ease. Bucklebopper™ is a tool designed to press in the buckle of a 5 point harness car seat, instead of using thumbs or fingers. Bucklebopper™ will help individuals with a variety of ailments affecting hand strength including Arthritis, Tendonitis, Carpal Tunnel and the latest medical issue for new moms, Mother’s Thumb. Even moms with long finger nails will find Bucklebopper™ to be a great help in releasing the car seat buckle. Additionally, people living in harsh winter climates who need to wear bulky gloves will find it easy to use without removing their gloves.
Marlene is a native of the Tri-Valley in Northern California, currently residing in San Ramon. With fifteen years of experience in the consumer packaged goods industry, she is putting her knowledge and expertise to use in a whole new field. In 2010 Marlene had a broken thumb on one hand and Carpal Tunnel in the other. With her toddler in a car seat she found it virtually impossible to release the car seat buckle. Market research revealed that she was not the only one facing this issue. Many people struggle with the day-to-day routine car seat activity, but Arthritis sufferers were concerned about being able to get their child out of a car in an emergency. Bucklebopper™ comes standard with a holster so that it can be stored out of a child’s reach but close to the car seat for convenient access by an adult.
Bucklebopper™ is celebrating its launch on September 15th, 2012 at their first retail location, Berry Patch in Downtown Pleasanton, CA (350 Main Street). Bucklebopper™ is also available for sale on their web site at http://www.bucklebopper.com. Join us in the celebration on Saturday, September 15th from Noon-2pm where we will have product demonstrations and refreshments.
