The National Financial Educators Council offers complimentary Certified Financial Education Instructor (CFEI) class to assist those teaching personal finance.

The National Financial Educators Council offers complimentary Certified Financial Education Instructor classes on August 28th and 29th. This free class will provide those interested in teaching personal finance the lessons necessary to improve their effectiveness as a financial educator.
The Certified Financial Education Instructor professional development course is designed for those that want to teach participants of all ages – from young children to adults. The NFEC offers financial literacy lesson plans for all ages that correlate with the CFEI training. The Life Stages Curriculum has special programs for kids, teens, young adults, adults and seniors. It also includes specialty financial literacy lesson plans for college, high school, religious organizations and workplace financial education.
The NFEC’s CFEI training course has been approved by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. The CFP Board is a regulatory organization that developed the standards of competency and ethics of financial planners. They approved the National Financial Educators Councils’ Certified Financial Education Coursework. Financial planners that graduate the program earn four hours on Continuing Education Credits issued by the CFP Board and are recognized by the NFEC as Certified Financial Education Instructors.
The complimentary Certified Financial Education Instructor class will be presented on a live, virtual-streaming, video format. Participants will watch the various instructors teach the subject matter on the over the internet. This new virtual training platform features interactive experiences, multimedia learning and live feedback.
The National Financial Educators Councils’ Certified Financial Education Instructor coursework provides a free class for those interested in teaching personal finance as part of the Financial EduNation Campaign. Through collaborative efforts across the country, the NFEC is helping to improve the financial capability of our nation’s citizens with the financial literacy lesson plans and personal finance curriculum. The complimentary CFEI training on August 28th and 29th provided to people globally a professional development course that will help them become more effective financial literacy instructors.
