The jury based its decision on Geodis Wilson’s sustainable development policy and the company’s efforts for environmental improvement within the transportation and logistics arena. The “G75” listing is published once a year by Inbound Logistics, one of the leading publications in the transportation segment.

Inclusion in the ‘G75’ listing is a significant accolade for Geodis Wilson as this recognizes the company as an industry-leading green supply chain partner. The list comprises ocean carriers, 3PLs, ports, air express, rail, trucking and materials handling companies. In compiling the listing, the publishers sought evidence from international companies of specific green investments and involvement in the key areas of public-private partnerships, corporate sustainability and collaborative customer-driven projects.
Geodis Wilson combines its efforts in this area in a program named “Blue Attitude”. The latest achievements have just been published in the sustainability report of Geodis Group:

This reports is developed annually showcasing the Geodis Group sustainability efforts and achievements. Examples are also demonstrated in the Blue Attitude Trophy program, where the best sustainability initiatives from the group’s divisions are awarded. The Blue Attitude program, which targets a 20 per cent improvement in carbon efficiency by 2020, has had significant success in encouraging a group-wide awareness of sustainable operational solutions for Geodis customers.
The Inbound Logistics G75 listing singled out, in particular a Geodis Wilson initiative in France to reduce energy and the number of products consumed while improving on-site waste recycling in order to cover 50 per cent of emissions with offsets.
