London, UK (PRWEB UK) 26 September 2012

Brainient, the UK-based interactive video advertising company launches the first XBOX Kinect-compatible interactive video ad in the world. The technology developed by Brainient enables viewers to engage with a video ad using only hand gestures instead of a remote control, keypad or touch screen.

Brainient’s interactive video platform, BrainRolls, can currently deliver interactive experiences across PCs, tablets and smartphones. With the rise of multi-screen digital consumption, the company is expanding its capabilities to Connected TVs, in order to help marketers deliver seamlessly deliver cross-device experiences.

The world’s first XBOX Kinect-compatible interactive advert was created by Brainient for the movie trailer of ‘The Hobbit’ and replicates the user behaviour of an XBOX Kinect game: viewers can use hand gestures like swipe, zoom-in, zoom-out or wave in order to interact with the video. They can find out more about the movie, read the cast’s biographies, watch “making of” videos or flip through a photo gallery for ‘The Hobbit’.

Available immediately, advertisers can now use the same BrainRolls formats across PCs, tablets, smartphones and Connected TVs. The formats can also be created using the in-browser Studio, providing the world’s first design tool that delivers formats seamlessly across any screen using a single interface.

Furthermore, marketers can now track the performance of their campaigns across multiple devices, making it easy to evaluate success on different screens and different devices from within a single reporting dashboard.

Emi Gal, Brainent CEO said: “Minority Report was one of my favourite movies as a teenager. I dreamt of one day being able to move objects around a screen in the same way Tom Cruise did in the movie, but I never thought I’d actually be involved in making it a reality. I’m very proud of the Brainient team.”
