All four are located in the Middle Florida Keys, with three on Grassy Key and the other in the town of Marathon.
Once directed to a particular rental, customers are treated to dozens of up-to-date pictures of all the available accommodations and deluxe features. To adapt to the prevalence of mobile devices, a mobile plug-in was installed for simpler browsing on cell phones and tablets.
“The whole idea is that we can show customers more pictures and give them a better feel for the property,” part owner of American Paradise, Cairn Boucher said.
Each home is outfitted with aesthetically pleasing landscaping, pools, boat dockage and spectacular water-front views.
Boucher, who owns the business with her husband Bart Boucher, said reservations can be made via phone. Contact information is provided front and center on the homepage, while an on-site calendar details the availability of each destination.
“I get a sense of who they are and why they’re coming,” she said. “When people are renting a house, they want a personal touch as well. It’s not the same as renting a hotel. It’s a more personal experience, so customers expect a more personal touch.”
