PMI to offer pink medical supplies to customers to help support Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Vista, CA (PRWEB) October 15, 2012
Progressive Medical International (PMI), a leading distributor of medical supplies, equipment, and biomedical services will be offering a selection of pink medical supplies in the month of October to help support Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
PMI has already teamed up with MedicOne Medical Response, based out of Texas, to supply them with pink Stryker XT Power Pro cots. PMI’s Biomed team which typically refurbishes medical equipment and devices, including cots, will also be customizing the cots and painting the frames pink for MedicOne.
“We’re happy to do our part to support Breast Cancer research,” says PMI CEO Marc Lawrence. “With friends and family that are cancer survivors, this issue really hits home.”
PMI will be offering other “pink products" as well including a variety of pink EMS nitrile gloves.
A portion of all proceeds from these products will be donated to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation. Komen is one of the largest grassroots networks of activists and breast cancer survivors and remains the largest source of nonprofit funds supporting the fight against breast cancer in the world.
