Kaplan Early Learning Company to unveil two new educational technology platforms at the 2012 National Association for the Education of Young Children Annual Conference.

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) November 07, 2012

Kaplan Early Learning Company will introduce two new leading-edge educational technology platforms today at the 2012 NAEYC Annual Conference. The Inspire – NG™ and the Inspire – NG™ Move leverage the latest technology advances from Microsoft® to create open-ended explorations that engage young children and offer new ways for teachers and caregivers to think about integrating technology in early childhood classrooms.

Designed to withstand the active play of young children and developed with a focus on early childhood development standards, the Inspire – NG™ and the Inspire – NG™ Move engage the senses and provide hands-on opportunities for children to interact with real-life objects. For the first time, technology isn't just screen time, it’s an integral part of best practices being applied in the classroom.

The Inspire – NG™ fuses the newest generation Samsung SUR40 with Microsoft® PixelSense™ with a series of nine exciting learning explorations designed for children 3 to 8 years of age, including: Art Bubbles, Insect Parts, Inspire Content Creator, Literacy Bubbles, Math Bubbles, Puzzle, Scent Sorts, Sequence Strings, and What’s Inside Animals. Each of these nine explorations allow young children to share, collaborate, and explore key early learning concepts together in an open-ended format.

“When I asked the team why they work so hard and remain so excited about this product, they have unanimously responded they want to have a positive impact on the future of education. They want to encourage and reward children’s curiosity. Through our product, they want to inspire the next generation,” says Chris Gerblick, Vice President, Professional Services and Information Technology.

With a focus on kinesthetic learning, the Inspire – NG™ Move combines the advanced technology of Microsoft Kinect for Windows™ with a four-exploration bundle designed specifically for children ages three to six. These digital literacy and math explorations include Directions, Patterns, Shapes, and Word Pop.

"With the Inspire – NG™ and Inspire – NG™ Move, it is exciting to know that the boundaries that technology used to hold no longer have to exist and we can have a part in creating brand new experiences that will enrich and further the education of tomorrow’s minds,” says Kelly Elmore, National Board Certified Teacher.

The Inspire – NG™ and the Inspire – NG™ Move will be available January 1, 2013 from Kaplan Early Learning Company. The Inspire – NG™ and the Inspire – NG™ Move will be on display at the 2012 NAEYC Annual Conference November 7-10, 2012 in Booth #1110.
